This is one of my favorite yearly events - as people from all over the region traipse all over this beautiful island to see Whidbey artists in our natural habitats and chat with us about all the hows and whys and wherefores of our work.

At the Blueschool Arts Studios, there are 5 of us on the tour this year - including our newest studio-mate Doug whose mixed media works are inventive and beatiful - so lots to see in one stop, right close to the ferry and yummy snacks to boot.

Creative Recycled Art Projects = CRAP! This fun event brings together an inventive assortment of Whidbey artists who share a love for making something new and amazing out of recycled and upcycled materials.

I’ll have several new assemblages in the show, and always look forward to seeing what my CRAP sisters have cooked up to share!
